Preparation first
A lot of Bailey's interior work starts with walls that need real attention: old wallpaper stripped back, patched plaster, or slippery silk finishes that need keying before a matt paint will sit properly. One recent hallway had silk on every wall. It took a lot of prep, but the result was a flawless Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt finish with eggshell woodwork and Tikkurila Anti-Reflex on the ceilings.
Floors and furniture are covered before work starts, and the room is left tidy at the end of the job.
Colour, done with confidence
Bailey is just as at home with soft creams and whites as he is with bold choices. Recent rooms include a deep teal living room with a matching fire surround, an ochre hallway with black skirting and frames, an olive snug with a navy ceiling and a blush pink panelled ceiling in a large reception room.

It depends on the room and the finish you want. Recent jobs have used Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt on walls, Dulux Heritage eggshell on woodwork and Tikkurila Anti-Reflex on ceilings.
